What should I do with dry and damaged hair?

I have dry, damaged hair and they tend to curl. The hairdresser suggests that I should rebond my hair. But what else can I do besides rebonding? What should I do with dry and damaged hair?

Rebonding will only be short-term. Trust me, after a year, it'll be dry and hard. I reboned my hair once, and it was pretty awesome at first.

Anyway, the best would be using hair conditioner regularly. You don't need to stinge on that. It makes your hair smell nice too!

Also, use some leave-on conditioner or serum. In your case, using something along the line of ';soft and silky'; would be great.

Where are you from? I could reccommend a leave-on cream I use that makes your hair very straight and nourished. It smells great too, and its reasonably priced. Good luck!

I love to use homemade beauty recipes. I suggest you the following for damaged/dry hair:

Hot-Oil Therapy

All five oils in this super-nourishing hot-oil treatment have one thing in common: they鈥檙e all rich with skin- and hair-enriching vitamin E. These oils will moisturize your hair and give it a silky, smooth finish. They鈥檒l also tone the skin on your scalp to help keep your hair naturally shiny for days. You can use this treatment once a week if your hair is very dry.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon sunflower oil

1 tablespoon peanut oil

1 tablespoon almond oil

1 tablespoon safflower oil

In saucepan, combine all oils over low heat. Stir ingredients until they begin to warm up and give off steam. When warm, remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly. Then massage treatment into hair and allow to sit for ten to fifteen minutes. Rinse and shampoo as usual.

Storage and life span: It鈥檚 best to make a fresh batch before each application. If you find yourself with too much left over, simply reduce the amount of each oil

Use Pantene Pro-V! I used to have dry hair and after I used that brand of shampoo and conditioner, it looked really moisturized and healthy! Good luck and hope this helps!

P.S. It may take a couple of days or more of washing your hair daily with Pantene until it looks moisturized.
Cut off the damage ends, if most of it is damaged and give it a deep protein treatment. This will allow it to grow back fresh and free of breakage and split ends.
Use shine shampoo. Whatever your hair color is use the brunnette, blonde, or red shampoo. That tends to make hair shine.
cut the damaged part off what kind of hair do u have white ,black mixed , indian ???
Deep condition
