Remember the commercial with the lady with hair that looked like branches from a tree? Well, sometimes I feel that way. Any suggestions? It is definitely dry.How do you repair color damaged hair?
Redken has a treatment to restore some health back into your hair. It is called Redken Extreme Treatment. You leave in your hair for 5-10 minutes and then rinse. Or you can get a deep protein treatment also. How do you repair color damaged hair?
Mayonaise is an excellent moisturizer. You just have to make sure you rinse thouroughly... you dont want that smell hanging around.
Beer is also good for your hair.
At a certain point of damage there is nothing you can do but wait for it to grow out %26amp; cut it off.
Also, don't shampoo it too often, it can strip your hair of it's natural oils, leaving it dry %26amp; breakable. I only shampoo once every 3rd or 4th shower.
I used to have the same issue, but once a hairstylist explained how to care for it, and it's silky soft now.... but I don't color anymore either.
Use a really good conditioner depending on your hair texture and condition. Some stylist will give you a free consultation and tell you what needs to be done to your hair, maybe you should try that.

Good luck
Well if you would not mind actually checking this information, to see that it is true, because you will not like the answer. First off your hair is dead material, it is not alive, only the root is alive, the hair is a by product of the root. If you have damaged your hair you need to educate yourself on how to care for your hair to keep it looking nice. With most products like those that repair split ends, simply has a type of glue that literaly sticks the splits back together, it really dosen't really fix the hair just makes it look like it does.
You will have great looking hair if you simply take care by washing it with mild shampoo and stay away from color, and other damaging practices including hair dryers but even towels can damage hair if you use too much agitation and such. Just remember if you hair is oily you need to wash it more, if your hair is dry you have damaged it, and so on. So what you need to do is throw out all those things that made your hair this way and simply use care with your hair and when it grows out you will see thicker and healthier hair.
deep conditioning every 3 days and trim ends every two months...
Infuisum 23 leave in spray is also good and can treat your hair for the summer till your ready for a trim.
try using color treated hair conditioner
it helps with the dryness
any shampoo with protein in it would do, but the best way to really get to the problem is internal, try skin,hair,%26amp; nail vitamins i use a product called natrol its a vitamin, made just for hair, nails, %26amp; skin,,and works well ! also vitamin E . you can get these at any store that sales vitamins..
I think you must use palm oil... Apply it whenever you go out especially when it is sunny outside.. Its really uncomfortable.. You can use it before sleeping..
I had to cut the fake color hair off.. and now I have very short short hair.. if you don't want to cut it all off.. I suggest.. deep treatments.. and Redkin worked.. little expensive.. stay away from heat.. and use color treated shampoo good luck!
you just need to get a formula that matches your hair and keep it that way. I had problems with my hair and found a cream that was a big help. Go through stores and try something diffrent if others fail to help. HTP!!!!
