My hair is really badly damaged due to a multitude of things- What products can help me improve it's health?
And what's the average cost of a trim at the hairdressers- just for split ends?
Thankyou! What are the best haircare products/regimes for repairing damaged hair?
You can probably get your ends trimmed for as little as $10, maybe a few dollars more. It would be a good idea to get as much cut as you can stand to lose. It really helps to get rid of the damaged hair.
Try using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and use a leave-in conditioner. I do a deep conditioning treatment a couple of times a month but some do it once a week.
Use as little heat as possible, but when you do try using a heat protectant. The Citre Shine serum has worked very well for me.
I think most hair care products are decent, so the brand is not a big deal. I'm a big fan of Paul Mitchell products, but I also use Garnier Fructis, Aveda, and Tresemme. What are the best haircare products/regimes for repairing damaged hair?
Well to start off getting the split ends cut off is a good idea, it will probably cost around $15 depending on the hairdresser.
Buy shampoo and conditioner that specialises in repairing damaged hair, PPS is good :]
After towel drying my hair i find spraying in leave in conditioner and brushing that through makes it feel silky and soft, i have 'RPR - untangle me' its awesome!
finally, invest in a good treatment that you use once a week, this will hydrate and moisturise your hair. hope this helped! :] xo
First in order to not weigh you hair down only use your conditioner on the ends in the shower and try to only wash every other day. KPAK by JOICO is a great repair product you can buy at a salon. You should get your hair trimmed regularly. The cost will depend on where you get it done. If only asking for a trim you can usually get away with a Cost Cutters or something like that for 10.00-12.00.
garnier and bedhead are good brands.
