What hair products are good to help damaged hair?

I flat iron and dye my hair a lot (although i'm cutting down on dying it). What hair products or remedies can I use to make my hair healthy? What hair products are good to help damaged hair?
blue is right, after you damage your hair, there is no going back! but there are a few good solutions. NO USING HEAT PRODUCTS! and do NOT dye your hair. you just have to let your hair grow out and then cut it. or cut it off now. it will be better in the long run! or you can use a hot oil treatment to treat the damage.

After years of trying to answer this question; I can't. It cannot be done! Once your hair is damaged, it's damaged you cannot make it healthy again; what you must do is cut off the most damaged part in length, in many cases it's up to the shoulders and let it grow and take care of it from there. Anything else, you're really just wasting your money - trust me!

If your hair isn't damaged, and you just want to know ways to keep your hair healthy...then I would suggest you keep all heat away from your hair as much as possible. Blow dry with cool air(it takes alot longer but it works), don't shower with hot water, no flat irons, hot curlers, curling irons nothing. In the summer get heat/sun protection products, I've seen Joico's KPAK edition make something for that this year. Invest in a good conditioner; try and get it from a beauty supply and ask the ladies which brand is the best( I would say try anything and everything from the KPAK edition). If your hair is healthy; that's really all you need to do...none of these fancy shmancy leave in conditioners, treatments, egg mayo scalp masks and what not.
use a thermal protecter before you do anything to your hair that involves heat. it will protect your hair from becoming dry and brittle, and it makes your hair glossy and shiny. not to mention healthy.
if you go to a pharmacy they have hair repair products that you just put in your hair.
I used V8 oil to repair my hair. Or Aussie 3-Minute-Miracle.
