Well i use both garnier fructis and pantene in the white bottle and it works fine for me..I use garnier for shampoo and pantene for conditioner so try mixing the products. But if you still dont want to use pantene then use garnier conditioner. What is the best hair conditioner for really damaged hair?
Really damaged hair can need different things.Moisture, and /or Protein.
If it feels like straw, sounds crispy between your fingers, you need Moisture. NOT protein!
I like the Redken Smooth Down Treatment. Wash your hair, towel dry it,apply a generous amount to the damaged areas.Cover and sleep with it in your hair. Rinse it out in the morning.Much Better than 5 minutes in the shower!
(using protein will not make your hair softer, no matter what they say on TV )
If your hair feels like gum, or its sticky when its wet..
You need Protein AND moisture. but they need to be applied separately to be most effective. so shampoo, towel dry and then spray in Redken Extreme CAT spray. Then add the moisture product on top and cover it. wait at least 30 minutes before you rinse.
Nothing will actually ';repair'; your hair. This will just make it stronger and softer till you can cut more off.
Good luck to you!
I think garnier is good. I've never tried having really damaged hair before. So I wouldn't know if it's great, but it worked for my friend's hair, which was burnt from the flat iron.
i would try leaving the conditoner on there for a while ... i put mine on wash my body then rinse it out ... but i use V05 or treseme and they work good for my hair
i like bedhead but i LOVE Paul Mitchell..i have tons of their products...ive used them for years and i love how they work on my hair..hope i helped..=/
