What is the best way to heal your damaged hair from a hair straighter?

I use a hair flat iron about once every 2 weeks and my hair is always breaking off easier these days....are there any tips or highly recommended shampoo and conditioners or even oils and techniques that can work with my problem here. I use Garnier Fructis all the time....just coming to me now it's not suitable for my hair. ( I have poofy hair)What is the best way to heal your damaged hair from a hair straighter?
to heal damaged hair and hair that is overly processed which sounds like it your case.

you need to stop using heat on your hair for awhile. I believe in using natural and organic products on the hair.

You may be washing your hair too much also.

try a deep conditioner every two weeks and it your hair wrapped.

Try not to use product not designed for African American hair.

There is products that are not formulated for our hair like pantene is one.

Try this website it has great products

Hair is dead. You cannot ';heal'; it. You can chop off the old stuff and start fresh once your hair grows out for a bit (e.g. if you want hair that is 6-8 inches long, wait 2 years and then cut off everything beyond 6-8 inches). The hair that remains will be unprocessed. Just don't start straightening it again!
motions, biosilk, or just go to a salon and ask what you need to do, they will be happy to help.
