I dye my hair a lot and I straighten it nearly everyday. I already use salon shampoo, but it's just not working. What shampoo would be good for frizzy and damaged hair?
I use Pantene Nature Fusion and it works wonders for me. My hair feels silky, straight and healthy. You mentioned you straightened your hair every day, Dove has a line called, Heat Defense Therapy that might be helpful for you. I would also suggest you use a moisturizing leave in conditioner. I use Long Term Relationship leave in and it works great, it's not overly greasy and gross just moisturizing. Also always use heat protectant spray, when I straighten my hair, I use it on every strand. You might also need to avoid straightening your hair every day, maybe every other day or once a week. Have you tried wet looks? This might be a better route for you to take until your hair gets healthier. What shampoo would be good for frizzy and damaged hair?
I recommend a good emu oil shampoo. It works well for reducing frizz, damage and fly-away...and helps retain moisture. Alternate daily with your favorite shampoo for best results. I'd also recommend a thermal protector when straightening or blow drying. Too high temperature settings can fry or steam moisture and oils leaving hair dry, brittle and splitting.
Good Luck!
Try any type of shampoo that says for damaged or dry hair, Herbal Essences has a good one check out their stuff and also Garnier. Use a deep conditioner for your hair. Also use a very deep conditioning treatment once a week
