Good products or home remedies for damaged hair?

I dye, blow dry and straighten my hair a lot. Its not in terrible condition but I want to do something about it before it gets worse! Its pretty dry and frizzy when I don't straighten it.

Can you recommend any good products (not too expensive and must be available in the UK) or home remedies to help me?Good products or home remedies for damaged hair?

This is a Professional product, i would highly recommend.

In my old salon, we used to charge 拢5 for a conditioning treatment using this, and not one person went away disappointed.

If used correctly there is enough for 3/4 treatments in here. As it is a Professional product, its more concentrated than chemist/supermarket products, therefor using less and better quality. This is a weekly treatment. Cheapest i could find for you on ebay :)Good products or home remedies for damaged hair?
My hair went through a phase of getting dry and frizzy due to straightening etc. I did the following and saw results within a week.

1)As normal as it may sound, drink lots of water.

2)Try cutting down with the heating products; only straighten your hair when you need to. I mean I have hair which allows me to straighten it today and get away with it the next day too.

3)Try using a different shampoo, make sure you use a conditioner (I've started using herbal essences and it's quite good).

4)When you wash your hair try to use luke warm water, hot water damages the hair.

5)When your hair is wet, don't brush it. If you really need tot hen comb it, brushing wet hair weakens the roots and therefore the hair snaps and gets damaged).

6)Try to allow your hair to dry naturally, then straighten it, rather than blow drying it.

7)Eat a lot of fruit and veg, it's really good for the hair and skin.

8)Try to eat nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts are really good for hair.

9)Fish is good too, fish oil can be purchased from many shops.

10)Applying an oil to the hair before having a bath is good too. Olive oil is the best, almond is good too. Just massage it into your hair 30-40 minutes before having a bath.

Hope it helps, I did the above and my hair was back to good. Now I straighten it a lot but do the above so it stays healthy.
There are many people in the world, who have the same hair as yours, but they don't damage their hair by blow-drying, or worst of all straightening it. As you can see it is pretty dry and frizzy, because your hair is wavy. That's the WORST thing you do to a curly hair.

There are lots of styles out there, just experiment it, without further damaging your hair.

Recommend to cut your hair, and start fresh. And stop what you've been doing to your hair. Also a good shampoo for your hair, is WEN. My DIL uses it and I've seen the result.

Making sacrifices now can give you rewards later on.
Well.. Hair dye over processes the hair and creates breakage. you should use olive oil. You could also go to a hair salon near you and get your split ends and most of your damaged hair cut off so that your hair can grow faster without all the extra dead hair. After getting your ends trimmed you should try to keep your hair moist a lot. use moisturizers near you.
so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks. if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the e to kick in. dont brush your hair but maybe once a week to message the scalp, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins two months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online. five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. good luck
Well, there really isn't anything over the counter that can do that but visit a local salon and ask them because professional products are always the most efficient. Also if your going out in the sun wear a leave in conditioner. lay off the hair colour for a little bit. Colouring it to much can just lead to more damage. In my hairstyling class i had seen someone who left the colour on the hair too long and it over processed and completely broke the hair it was brutal! so watch the time when your colouring hair. But like someone said extensions are the best. just give your hair a rest
I've found Aussie haircare products work wonders with Dry/Frizzy hair. I wouldn't really class them as expensive either, they can just be a bugger to find as Tesco sometimes %26gt;_%26lt;

I deal in herbs etc, but best think for you is coconut oil, available in all supermarkets, rub in in your hair over the weekend, use a towel at night on your pillow, otherwise your pillow will get all the oil on it, wash it next day using baby shampoo like Johnson's baby shampoo, its not harsh to your hair, a few weekends and your hair will be totally normal, they will be really beautiful
olive oil simple as that. its inexpensive and natural;

Olive oil has antioxidants and vitamin E that protect the hair from humidity and sunlight. Because it is an oil, it will seal the hair cuticle and keep it healthy.

before showering apply it all over your hair, leave it on for 40 min and then shampoo

hope this helps. good luck!
ok first off dye breaks your hair off, use extensions :]

thats all i know sorry :] hope i helped
