i also stopped relaxing my hair and now its natural except for some ends i need to trim...anyway by this time those places that are relaxed are probably just dead hair that is coming out, you should cut them off. try cornrowing your hair (not too tight) and if you wear tight hairstyles stop it!! the relaxed hair will continue to break i thinks its normal when you're transitioning. what i did was as my natural hair grew more and more i slowly cut off the ends. i cut little but little and now the natural hair as long enough to my liking that i can cut the dead end off completely.hope i helped a bit..How do I recover from from damaged hair while transitioning to go natural?
you should use eggs( the yellow stuff only ) to wash your hair. and NOT shampoo!
it will make your hair stronger and healther and it will grow a lot faster!
my mom did that for you youth years and she's almost 50 and has not even one gray hair!!!
it's amazing! try*

Well from my personal experience i'll suggest .. use any mild shampoo like dove and get hair spa. Hair spa is available in Loreal and matrix brands. Its a bit costlier but its bttr to do it ur self rather than going to any saloon and getting it done.

Keeping your hair in a ';ponytail'; or pulled back tightly is what has damaged it.Especially if you are pulling it back while wet.As hair dries,it expands and breaks off where the rubber band or tieback is used.Just cut it off and let it grow. It's not the end of the world,it will grow back healthy.
YOU MUST GET IT TRIMMED. Keep going back every 4 weeks taking as much as your comfortable with off.
Definitely don't do the pony anymore...
If anything only at night loosely.
When you see a stylist, ask for ideas on how to style it while it's growing out.
Keep getting it trimmed regularly. Let it grow out and don't put it in the ponytail anymore, that will only make it worse.
