My hair is pretty puffy and frizzy so I straighten it to keep it looking good. But now after straightening it so many times I think it ruined it. Now my hair has a lot of split ends and its really dry. Does anyone know any products to get my hair soft, undamaged, not frizzy and puffy...ANY THING along those lines. What are good products for damaged hair?
First start with a trim to remove most of the split ends. For shampoos and conditioner I recommend Pantene Pro V relaxed and natural for women of color. It also works for white women who have damaged hair whether it be from dying, excessive heat, etc.. Make sure you get the leave in conditioner and for a hair straightener I suggest a maxiglide. It uses steamburst technology to seal in moisture and give ur hair a beautiful sheen and it has detangler pins that actually straighten ur hair unlike all of these flat irons that do exactly what they say. Flatten ur hair. Don't take my word thouugh, go to maxiusbeauty.com and see for yourself. Hope this works and dont forget to rate. 8DWhat are good products for damaged hair?
Hey,
I used to have this problem 3 months back now my hair is beautiful and curly. My best friend became PPS hair products. You are going to have to put up with frizzy hair for a month. So start shampooing and conditioning 1 a week. and condition every 2 days. Towel dry you hair don't blow dry or straighten. Once your hair is dry use a 50 cent coin sized dollop of D fuse use it every 2 days. It is a PPS hair product. Also use a PPS hair product. Im not sure what it is called but it is in a plain white bottle with pink it is a de-frizzer use it every 2 days when your brushing. In a month you should see results
Well it sounds like you should start with a haircut to remove some or all if the split ends. There are so many products that can help. Joico makes some great deep conditioners. When buying whether at the grocery store or local salon, be sure to buy a conditioner that has protein and moisturizers. When your hair is healthy again you should able to flat iron it. Be sure to use products that will protect your hair. CHI products are designed for straightening hair and offer protection.
Good Luck

It smooths your hair %26amp; protects it!
Trust me, I read on the matrix website, even though serums help make your hair smooth when you straighten, it does not work as a heat protectant. It still damages your hair. So use heat protectant all the time!! trust me, it works wonders.

Tips:
When you take a shower, make sure to use 'warm' water, that way it will open your pores, and don't Overwash your hair. and when your right about to get out of the shower, have a nice spray of cold water, It will have more shine on the hair, and less frizz.
