How can I repair my color damaged hair?

I am a natural blonde who decided to go to auburn nearly 2 years ago. Unfortunately, as any blonde who has tried to dye their hair red knows, it fades so quickly that I have to re-dye it extremely frequently. I also blow dry my hair daily, because if I don't it will be extremely flat and hard to manage. Now at this point my hair is frizzy, dull, and very dry. I use Herbal essences color care, another moisture conditioner, and panteen pro v leave in repair serum. Nothing is working at all. If yuo have any suggestions please let me know. How can I repair my color damaged hair?
Okay you have damaged the hair, toss the grocery or drug stotre stuuf. Try going to a salon or ULta try a good shampoo and conditoner ( Biologe, Bain de terre, Nexxus) moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Then use something like Sebastion potion 9 leave in conditioner and styling balm (ever notice the Friend's stars shiny soft looking hair? they used potion 9) then your normal styling stuff - you may need a professional conditioning treatment and use a clafiying shampoo to start with all the excess dye will make your hair dull. Moisturize! Stay away from the cheap stuff for really dry hair it's not gonna workHow can I repair my color damaged hair?
Make an appointment with a reputable salon and get a deep conditioning, and do it several time. This will revive your natural shine, and it will also make you hair more helathy and stronger!
Stop dying your hair (natural blonde is beautiful), deep condition it, and start getting regular trims. A really good deep conditioning treatment is...mayo (or mayonnaise, same thing). Comb some through your hair so it's fully saturated, and leave it on for an hour or so with a shower cap, then rinse or shampoo it out! If this doesn't work, go to a salon.
The absolute best thing to use is Sebastion Potion 9..It's all I ever used...It's a leave in conditioner and it doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy and flat and the scent is good. You may be able to find it a t a local salon or beauty supply store..like Davidsons..also Kroger started carring it as well...It's about $14.00 a tube but it's well worth it.!!
Here's what you need to do...

Go to any salon, and get some hair reconstructor. Whether its a shampoo, a conditioner, or just a leave in spray, it will help. What this does is builds up the strands of hair again from all the blowdrying and coloring. This will work, i swear it!
I have fried my hair many times (I have finally learned to go to the salon for color). Hair needs protien and moisture. Use MOP(modern organic products) protien treatment (smells bad but works great) and follow that up with biolage moisture conditioner. Use the biolage daily until you see an improvement. Joico K-Pak is supposedly the best(with the best type of protien that penatrates the hair shaft, the leave in treatment is also good-by the time you use one bottle you should see an improvement. At the salon they can give you a gloss after coloring which helps with give shine and prevent fading. yes, it coats the hair, but you will be so much happier- I am finally!!
i one time saw a hair coloring box.and they used a flower substence that won't damage your hair .my mom tried it and she is so happy with her life.the flower on the box was orange.that's all i can tell you!
i wish i knew
Pay the money to go to a very good salon and have them strip it of the dye and get it back to it's natural color, also go ahead and have them give it a good cut.
I use the Rusk line, and they have a creme called Wired that I use b4 drying, good stuff!

The shampoos are awesome too!

Don't buy products from the grocery store/Walmart-that crap is, well, crap!

If you cannot afford to visit a $$ salon, go to a reputable hair school. It would be a great demonstration for the students, you get good quality care and knoweldgeable people, and it is a fraction of the cost.

For products, find a beauty supplu store that sells to the opublic as well as professionals, or find a friend that works in the field to help you find good stuff. Rusk, Bain de Terre, Schwarpkopf are good.
i am a natural blonde as well so i can sympathize! i dye my hair a ton so when it starts to get fried this is what i do:

1) leave it alone for a while. try out some cut updos for a few weeks to give your hair a break from heat styling or if you have to style let it air dry for as long as possible before you take the dryer to it. mist a heat protecting spray on your hair right before you dry it.

2) deep condition. try neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioner or garnier fructis deep conditioner. i use one every other time i wash my hair, so about twice a week.

3) trim off the bottom inch or two of your hair to get rid of all of that damaged, dry hair. the bottom is the oldest and it has taken the most abuse, if it is fried or you have split ends there is no way to reverse it. and if youre feeling like something new go for a shorter hair cut and itll look healthier instantly.

i abuse the heck out of my hair and thats what i do to keep it healthy.

and one more thing..go to a beauty supply store and buy a deep conditioner/reconstructor. they sell them in individual packs for like $2. wella and aphogee are great brands. they are hardcore conditioners and they really help.
Use Pentene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner and the hair treatment stuff that you leave in for 3 minutes.
The only thing that will fix the damage and breakage is time. You need to get it trimmed every six weeks and also try a deep conditioning treatment once a week. The color red fades out on everyone's hair, not just people with blond hair. You should try washing your hair at night and let it air dry. In the morning, go over it with a big curling iron to give it some body. When your hair returns to a more healthier stage, you can even get a body wave perm with big rollers to add volume. Good Luck
The only way to repair your hair is to cut it but I can tell you how to make it look healthy. First of all, switch shampoos. Don't buy that stupid walmart bull. You need to buy salon product shampoos that have deep conditioners to penetrate the hair. Buy a shampoo that says treatment for damaged hair. It will cost about $13. You should also buy a spray on conditioner to use after you get out of the shower. Hot oil treatments are very good too. You definitely should get some of those. They have some cheap ones in suave that work really well. Keep using the serum too. This will make your hair look really pretty but it will still be damaged unless you cut it.
salon quality deep conditioner
Nothing will repair hair, anything that says it will is lying. Anything that says it will make hair stronger will only do so by coating the hair to protect it.

Try Trevor Sorbie Moisturising and De-Frizzing shampoo and conditioner, or John Frieda Radiant Red shampoo, conditioner and colour lock. If that's too pricey, Sunsilk do a similar thing.

And when you blow dry, use a heat protection spray. Toni and Guy is great, it's the only one that doesn't small overwhelmingly of alcohol.
use garnier frutis shampoo and conditioner they have a special kind for color damaged hair.
