I am 15 and i have really short, thick, and dry hair. I'm African American and my hair is breaking off and is gettin shorter and shorter every year. Any products or remedies that work?? Should i just keep getting braids or cornrolls and grease my scalp or should i leave it natural and keep conditioning it? Please help me out. deep condition it with hot oil treatment and keep it mosturised all the time. cornrolls r better than braids coz braids will put on some weight on ur hair causing more fallingHow do i fix years of damaged hair??
I know it sounds weird, but massaging your scalp helps.

Before you take a shower, massage your scalp with aloe vera or some other oil or gel. This increases the production of natural oils on your scalp. Leave it on for a while, then wash it out. Also, keep your hair trimmed and use moisturising shampoo and conditioner. Good luck!! =)
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

There isn't much you can do once your hair is completely damaged. DEFINATELY leave it alone, though. You can also get hot oil treatments from any store. They'll help make your hair feel a lot healthier.

You can also go to a salon and they do treatments as well. :)

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply store near you, I'd go and pick up a hair mask, too! I used to use one, but I can't remember what it was called. It's in an orage container with purple writing. It smells awesome and works great!

Good luck.
