When you cut off damaged hair, will it grow back damaged?

I have damaged hair, and I'm thinking about cutting my hair-do short so I can get off those unflattering damaged ends. But -- will they grow back damaged? Because I don't want to spend my money on a haircut if it's no use. Thanks!When you cut off damaged hair, will it grow back damaged?

They won't come back damaged unless you keep doing the thing that damaged them in the first place. So if you used an iron or a blowdryer too much or bleached your hair too often and it damaged your hair, it will do it again if you repeat that process. If you stop the process that damaged your hair, your hair won't grow back damaged.
no the whole point of getting it cut off is for it to grow back lookin better than ever . dats why some people just het there dead ends cut off
hair grows healthily. whatever damage there is you did to it. as long as you take action to keep your hair healthy, cutting off the damaged hair will help.
Your hair will grow back healthy but then it is up to you to look after your hair so as not to let it go back to how it was.


By not looking after your hair it will get damaged with split ends etc. If you trim your hair on a regular basis and use a good conditioner and never elastic bands to put your hair up you really shouldn't have a problem and every so often you can put a treatment through it.


You don't have to buy the most expensive range there is but I normally get something in the middle range or even a bit less, with no problems..
