What type of damaged hair is it, when straight hair turns curly near the neck?

I have naturally straight elbow-length hair, but some of the hairs near the back of the neck get curly and looks kinda weak? Is it really very damaged hair and can it be treated without cutting my hair!!??What type of damaged hair is it, when straight hair turns curly near the neck?
It sounds like dry ends - ';dead'; bits on the ends of your hair.

Use a repairing shampoo/conditioner and then book yourself a hair salon appointment - tell them to cut a fair bit from the ends of your hair. This means you'll lose some of your length, but only an inch or so. Keep up with the trimming and you'll never have to let go of that much hair again(:What type of damaged hair is it, when straight hair turns curly near the neck?
its probably because you sweating....tht will make hair curl
