What is the best conditioner for damaged hair?

I went to a hair dresser after my hair became thin from weaving. She treated it and kept on re setting the steaming switch 3 times so I was under it for about 30 mins. Then she blow dried my hair. After that It became so thin it was see through.

I started to use Mr Miracle and Ic products which are tremendously good but what shall I expect from a hair dresser? She made it ten times worse? Are most of them underqualified?

Please advise, thanks. What is the best conditioner for damaged hair?
Pantene Always Smooth Conditioner...it really works great and only costs around 6.00...also try KMS California smoothing serum it costs a little more around 12.00 or other KMS products. hope this helps u get your hair back into shape....What is the best conditioner for damaged hair?
I've heard hairdressers on here mention Kerasilk.

I've gotten great results by using V05 Hot Oil. But my problem was more dry hair than necessarily damaged hair.

You'll want a conditioner from a salon that requires you to leave it on your hair for at least 5 minutes.
i use herbal essences collections or just any kind of mosturizing products like dove and pantine

im in beauty school- and sadly yes some hairstyles are just idiots and just went into the field for a quik job, but i acutly like using organic stuff in my hair - and to help restore your damage hair is you need to get protein back in your hair from what you lost through your hair nightmare process lol, and what i use is safflower oil, you buy it in the grocery store next to olive oil.( i know your thinking wtf lol) but i am an extreme bleacher i bleach my hair all the time and since i started using this my hair is so soft and shiny all the time. what it does is it restores the ph loss in your hair from chemicals or just damage from the sun, and once your hairs dry rub a lil bit in hands( a tiny bit goes a long way) start from bottom and work your way up your hair, you will start to notice within a week

- i also get this stuff from target, its heat resistent serum, i use it everyday, protects from sun, and blow dryers it also reduces frizzes. and i always use a deep conditionor cream twice a week and what i do is i get my globe of leave in conditioner on damp hair, than i wrap plastic wrap around head and then do a warm turban towel thing and i watch tv for a half-hour then i rinse it out and style as normal.

also look for any hair products that say protein replacement, if you go to salon they for sure will have it or like sallys beauty supply or ulta will!!

hope this helps, i hope your hair has better days ahead.

oh ya- that one girl suggested hot oil treatments, i tried it once and made my hair so unmangeable it was disgusting, i heard there not that good for hair anyways!!
